FAQ

1. Can we bring our children to the wedding?

Of course you are welcome to bring your children along! We have even planned a small entertainment corner for the little guests so that they feel comfortable and have fun. You don't need to mention them separately when you register - you can simply count them as normal guests.

2. Can we bring our pets to the wedding?

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at our wedding. However, there are a few chickens on site that you are welcome to look at - if the desire for animal company becomes too great!

3. Can I bring my partner to the wedding?

Unfortunately, not all guests can bring their partners due to lack of space. We ask for your understanding. We have contacted those who we have asked to come alone directly in advance. Should there still be any uncertainties, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your understanding!

4. Can we stay overnight in the neighbourhood? Are there any recommendations for hotels or accommodation?

We offer the following options for overnight accommodation on site:

1. Rustic sleeping facilities: We provide mattresses, or you are welcome to bring your own mattress. These will be set up in a large room in the house, which has not yet been fully renovated. This option is simple but cosy and ideal if you want to experience the rustic flair.

2. Your own tents: Alternatively, you can bring a tent and create your own little realm on a surrounding meadow. This option offers you a private outdoor space and a little more flexibility.

3. Hotels: If you prefer more comfort, you have the option of staying in a hotel in Frauenfeld. This option is particularly recommended as some of our guests come from this region and so a taxi can be shared in the evening. For an even better view, you can also book accommodation in Mammern or Steckborn.

If you have any questions about booking or choosing accommodation, please contact us.

5. Are there any special meal options or requirements? Is a vegetarian or vegan option available?

We will offer a varied menu to ensure that there is something for everyone. We make sure that both vegetarian and vegan guests are well catered for. There will also be suitable options for people with special requirements, such as a water allergy.

If you have any special dietary requirements or would like to make special requests, please let us know in advance so that we can plan accordingly.

We look forward to spoiling you with culinary delights!

6. By when do we have to confirm our participation? Is there a deadline for the confirmation?

We kindly ask you to let us know by 01 May 2025 at the latest whether you can attend our wedding or not. You will find a special tab for registration or cancellation on our homepage, where you can easily do this.

Thank you in advance for your prompt feedback!

7. Is it permitted to take photos? Are there certain areas or moments that should not be photographed?

Of course you are allowed to take photos! As a photography enthusiast, I know how important it is to capture beautiful moments with friends, family or new acquaintances. Feel free to take as many photos as you like and capture the special moments.

However, we would ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony in the church. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the atmosphere in the church without being distracted by mobile phones or cameras. Our photographer will professionally capture the ceremony.
